Shipping policyMake a longer hooded layer the centre of your outfit with the Hoodvara EMF Shielding Hooded Longline Coat. Long sleeves, front pockets and an extended hem give the AJ809 a familiar outerwear shape, while the hood adds a casual finish at the neckline. Choose the colour, conductive-fabric version and labelled fit that work with your existing clothes.
Hoodvara is a separate coat, so you can pair it with your own tops and trousers rather than buy a matching outfit. Its range includes several MTF colours and selected Black silver-fibre options, with women's and men's fit labels. Start with the hooded longline silhouette, then choose the complete combination that suits both your wardrobe and your fit requirements.

A hooded outline with more length
The hood gives this coat a different character from a conventional collared or lapel design. It creates an easygoing outerwear detail around the neck and back of the head, while the longer body carries that shape down through the outfit. If you prefer a coat to be the main visual layer rather than a short addition at the waist, Hoodvara is worth considering.
A longline hem changes the proportions of the clothes underneath. Think about the trousers, skirt or other lower garment you will pair with it and how much of each piece you want visible. The coat can bring the outfit together without requiring every item to match exactly. A simple top is often enough to let the hood and extended outline remain the focus.
Choose the longer cut because you enjoy that clothing shape. Length is not a substitute for checking the fit through the shoulders and sleeves, and it does not establish a particular shielding score. The useful comparison is between garments you can picture wearing, with the conductive-fabric choice considered alongside the silhouette.
Front pockets and long sleeves for a familiar coat feel
The front pockets add a practical detail to the design. They provide a place for small essentials, with the actual dimensions determining what fits. If one particular item needs to go in a pocket, check the opening and depth rather than estimating. Otherwise, let the pockets be part of the straightforward usefulness of the coat.
Long sleeves make Hoodvara a different choice from a sleeveless vest or apron. Your base layer still matters, but the coat supplies the full-sleeved outer shape. Consider the thickness of your usual top through the upper arms as well as the body. That helps you choose a size around the outfit you will actually wear.
The hood is a style and construction feature, not a waterproofing claim. Choose the coat for its stated fabric options and garment design. If you need a specific weather performance, that should be assessed separately rather than inferred from the presence of a hood or a longer hem.
Four conductive-fabric specifications
The supplier declares these compositions for the specified fabric versions:
- MTF: 41.8% cotton, 32.1% polyester fibre and 26.1% metal fibre.
- 50Ag: 50.6% polyester fibre and 49.4% silver fibre.
- 75Ag: 25.2% polyester fibre and 74.8% silver fibre.
- 100Ag: 100% silver fibre.
MTF identifies the cotton, polyester and metal-fibre blend. The Ag codes identify silver-fibre formulations, with the rounded names corresponding to the exact figures above. These percentages describe the specified fabric rather than every component of the completed coat. They are material labels, not percentages of radio-frequency energy blocked.
The material selection and the fit selection work together because some silver-fibre combinations have narrower availability. If you already know which composition you want, check its fit options first. If the colour and silhouette are your starting point, review the versions available in your size before settling on a fabric code.

Seven colours in the MTF version
Choose MTF in Navy blue, Sky blue, Light gray, Black, Pink, Heather gray or Light blue. Each of these combinations comes in women's M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL, and men's M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL and 4XL. This gives you a consistent fit range while you compare colours within the same material category.
Black and Navy blue give you dark options for an understated outfit. Light gray and Heather gray provide two separately named grey choices. Sky blue and Light blue are different blue options, while Pink brings another colour direction. Choose the exact label you like, then picture the longer coat shape in that colour with your usual clothes.
Because the coat occupies a large part of the visible outfit, colour has a strong influence on the overall appearance. Try imagining it with several tops and lower garments you already own. A shade that works across those combinations is often easier to make part of a regular wardrobe than one chosen for only a single styled look.
Black silver-fibre options and their fit ranges
Black 50Ag comes in women's M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL, and men's M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL and 4XL. It offers the broad fit range within the silver-fibre selection. If you want a Black coat and this specified composition, choose the full women's or men's label before selecting the size.
Black 75Ag comes in women's M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL. The men's choices are M, L, 2XL, 3XL and 4XL; men's XL is not part of the available combination. Black 100Ag is offered in men's M. Check these exact combinations if either of those fabrics is your priority.
These are the selectable silver-fibre colours and fits for AJ809. Do not assume another colour in the MTF range is also offered in 50Ag, 75Ag or 100Ag. A complete selection identifies colour, fabric, fit designation and size together, and it should reflect the version you actually intend to buy.
Choose around your main priority
If colour is central to the outfit you have in mind, begin with the MTF palette or the Black silver-fibre choices and review the appropriate fit range. If a particular fabric composition matters most, begin with that code and see whether your fit is offered. This avoids building a decision around a combination that is not available.
For a clear comparison, change one element at a time. Black MTF and Black 50Ag in the same labelled fit focus on material. Navy blue MTF and Light blue MTF in the same fit focus on colour. Keeping the other details fixed helps you identify which difference actually makes one option more appealing to you.
Read women's and men's as part of the size
The fit designation is part of the option, not an interchangeable description. A women's M and a men's M should not be assumed to have the same dimensions. Across the range, the women's labels run from M through 3XL, and the men's labels from M through 4XL, subject to the silver-fibre exceptions described above.
Compare the actual garment dimensions for the selected fit where needed. A familiar letter from another brand does not establish the chest width, sleeve length or body length of Hoodvara. If your choice depends on a particular measurement, confirm it before ordering rather than assuming that a shared label guarantees a shared fit.
A longline coat you already like can be a useful reference. Measure it using the same method as the AJ809 dimensions you obtain. Distinguish laid-flat widths from body circumferences, and check where length measurements begin. Clear methods make the numbers meaningful and give you a better basis for selecting the coat.
Account for the layers you expect to wear
Use your usual base layer when thinking about fit. A thicker top needs different room through the arms and shoulders from a thin shirt. If you plan to wear several layers, include that combination in your comparison. The coat should be selected around real clothing, not an idealised minimum layer you rarely use.
Consider the neckline too. A hooded top beneath a hooded coat creates a different arrangement from a simple round neck or shirt collar. Check whether the combination you prefer sits comfortably and looks as intended. This is an ordinary clothing decision that can make a specialised garment feel like a natural wardrobe addition.
Check the longer shape in movement
When trying on Hoodvara, reach forward, bend your elbows and take a seat over your intended outfit. Notice how the shoulders and sleeves move and where the hem settles. A longline garment can feel different seated than standing, so include both positions in the fit check.
Let the hood sit naturally as you assess the upper shape, and check the pockets without overfilling them. The goal is a coat whose practical details work with your everyday movements. Do not rely on an assumed stretch allowance to resolve a fit question; use the actual dimensions and the way the garment sits.
RF shielding in a wearable coat
Conductive fabric can reflect and absorb portions of radio-frequency energy, reducing transmission through the textile. Frequency and conductive structure affect that interaction. A metallised-fabric study illustrates the general material principle.
Hoodvara arranges the selected fabric in a hooded coat with sleeves, a front opening and a hem. Those features determine the physical form of the layer. A longline coat offers a different clothing shape from a vest, but length or fibre percentage alone does not establish a numerical shielding result in every wearing condition.
When comparing EMF protection clothing, consider the actual garment together with its stated fabric. The material codes do not promise complete-body protection, protection from every electromagnetic field or a medical benefit. The useful choice here is a clearly identified conductive textile within a coat design you want to wear.
Care for the version you choose
Follow the care label and instructions supplied with your selected coat. The range includes different fabric formulations, and the finished garment has its own seams, pockets and construction details. Use its actual directions for washing, drying and pressing rather than a generic routine for ordinary outerwear or another EMF product.
If you need a specific cleaning method to fit your routine, confirm compatibility before ordering. Keep the instructions and ask about unfamiliar symbols before the first clean. Care, fit and colour are all part of choosing a coat that will work naturally with the rest of your wardrobe.
Hoodvara buying questions
Are matching trousers included?
No. AJ809 is the coat only. Pair it with your own trousers and other clothing, or choose any additional garments separately.
Can I buy 100Ag in every size?
Black 100Ag is offered in men's M. Review the 50Ag, 75Ag and MTF combinations if you need another fit, rather than assuming every material has the same selection.
What should I check for Black 75Ag?
Women's M through 3XL are offered. Men's M, L, 2XL, 3XL and 4XL are offered, with men's XL absent from that combination. Read the full fit label before ordering.
Why choose this coat shape?
Choose Hoodvara when you want a hooded, long-sleeved outer layer with front pockets and an extended hem. Its appeal is that familiar longer silhouette combined with the conductive-fabric version you select.
