Shipping policyBring an understated, familiar layer to your EMF clothing wardrobe. Claspvyn pairs a conventional collar and button front with long sleeves, front pockets and a longline cut. It is the kind of separate coat you can build around clothes you already own, choosing the fabric, colour and fit that make sense for your day.
The EMF Shielding Collared Button-Front Coat – Claspvyn, model AJ826, offers four conductive-fabric codes and women's or men's fits. Its options range from cotton-containing MTF blends in several colours to silver-fibre versions in Mineral blue and selected Navy blue combinations. The design stays straightforward while the choice of textile is yours.

Start with a coat you want to wear
Claspvyn's collar and button opening give it a familiar look. You can put it over a plain top for a simple neckline or wear it with a shirt when you prefer more structure around the collar. Because it is a separate coat, the rest of the outfit remains entirely up to you.
The longline body makes it a substantial part of the outfit's silhouette. It offers a different visual balance from a short jacket, particularly when worn over simple trousers or other uncluttered clothing. Choose your colour with that in mind: this is likely to be one of the most visible pieces in the combination.
Long sleeves bring the layer down the arms, and front pockets add a practical detail to the front. The button fastening is worth considering in its own right. If you naturally reach for buttoned coats rather than zip-front styles, Claspvyn lets you retain that preference while choosing a conductive fabric.
Its understated design also gives you room to vary the clothes underneath. A favourite top, a shirt or another suitable base layer can each create a different outfit with the same coat. You do not have to buy a matching set to make the pieces work together.
A useful palette for everyday combinations
Black, Navy blue and the grey MTF shades give you several ways to build a neutral-looking outfit. Light blue and Pink bring lighter colour choices into the same fabric group. Mineral blue is the main colour for exploring all three silver-fibre versions in this model.
Consider whether you want the coat to blend with your usual clothes or become the contrasting piece. A dark layer over a light top creates one effect; a lighter coat against dark trousers creates another. Neither requires a complicated outfit, just a clear sense of the colours you enjoy wearing together.
If you have a particular blue in mind, keep the names separate. Navy blue, Mineral blue and Light blue are distinct options and do not all offer the same fabrics. Reading the complete colour/material label helps you choose the shade and textile you intended.
For a wardrobe built around one or two favourite colours, begin with those shades. You can then compare the relevant material options without having to reconsider the whole outfit. If composition comes first for you, choose the fabric group and explore its colours instead.
MTF, 50Ag, 75Ag and 100Ag
These four codes identify the conductive-fabric choices available for Claspvyn. Each has a different composition, which gives you a clear starting point for your material selection. Supplier-declared compositions for the specified fabrics are:
- MTF: 41.8% cotton, 32.1% polyester fibre and 26.1% metal fibre.
- 50Ag: 50.6% polyester fibre and 49.4% silver fibre.
- 75Ag: 25.2% polyester fibre and 74.8% silver fibre.
- 100Ag: 100% silver fibre in the specified fabric.
MTF is the cotton-containing blend. It includes polyester and metal fibre as well as cotton, making it a distinct material choice from the Ag versions. The conductive component is identified as metal fibre, rather than specifically silver fibre.
The Ag choices explicitly use silver fibre. In 50Ag and 75Ag, polyester is the other declared component. The rounded codes correspond to 49.4% and 74.8% silver fibre respectively, so the detailed figures are useful when you want to compare compositions precisely.
100Ag identifies the specified fabric as entirely silver fibre. These fabric declarations do not describe every component of the completed coat, such as its buttons. They identify the conductive textile version you select as part of the garment.
The fabric type is broadcloth. Choose the size with your intended layers and movement in mind, and use actual garment dimensions when a particular fit is important. A fibre percentage tells you about composition; it does not by itself tell you how a coat will sit on your body.
Choose from the actual colour and fabric pairings
- MTF: Black, Heather gray, Light blue, Light gray, Navy blue and Pink.
- 50Ag: Mineral blue and Navy blue.
- 75Ag: Mineral blue and Navy blue.
- 100Ag: Mineral blue.
Mineral blue lets you compare 50Ag, 75Ag and 100Ag without changing the colour name. This makes it a convenient starting point if you want a silver-fibre version and are still deciding on composition.
Navy blue offers a different comparison: MTF, 50Ag or 75Ag. You can keep a familiar dark-blue colour while choosing between the cotton-containing metal-fibre blend and two silver-fibre fabrics. If you want 100Ag specifically, choose the available Mineral blue option.
Black, Heather gray, Light blue, Light gray and Pink are MTF choices in this model. If one of those colours is the priority for your outfit, the material selection follows directly. You can then focus on finding the fit and size you want.
Review the completed selection before ordering. The available combination includes the colour, fabric code, fit designation and size; each part helps identify the coat. Keeping that full label with your order makes repeat purchases and later questions easier.

Read the size label from start to finish
The men's options use M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL and 4XL. The women's options use M, L, XL, XXL and 3XL. The fit designation appears alongside the size as For men or For women. Choose the full label, including that wording.
Claspvyn uses XXL in its option names before 3XL. Keep the exact label when checking your basket or asking a sizing question. This avoids confusion when comparing the coat with another model that may write its size range differently.
Plan the fit around what you will wear underneath. A thin top, a shirt and a thicker layer each need a different amount of space through the shoulders and sleeves. Choose for your likely outfit rather than for the least bulky clothing you could possibly wear beneath the coat.
Check the body fit with the front fastened. You want suitable room through both the chest and the lower body, especially when sitting. A longline coat needs to work across more than one measurement, so avoid choosing only by how the shoulders appear to fit.
For length, use a coat you already like as a reference. Identify where you want the hem to fall and compare actual garment dimensions when available. Your height and proportions influence the final position; the word longline does not establish an identical result for everyone.
Sleeve length deserves its own attention. The size that provides the room you want through the body may change the sleeve position too. If you are between sizes or need a particular dimension, resolve that point before ordering instead of assuming a larger size is automatically the better layering choice.
Try the outfit in your mind before choosing
Picture your ordinary movements: reaching forward, bending your elbows and sitting at a table. The coat should allow the space you want for those actions with your intended base layer. This is a more useful fit check than focusing only on a still, upright silhouette.
Then consider the neckline. If a collared shirt is your everyday choice, think about how its collar will sit beneath the coat's collar. If you prefer a simple top, the coat can provide the main detail around the neckline. Both are easy combinations to plan before selecting.
Finally, choose a colour that works with more than one outfit if versatility is your priority. An understated coat can become a repeatable part of dressing when you know which tops and trousers you want to pair with it. The material choice remains specific, while the styling can change from day to day.
Conductive fabric and RF shielding
Conductive fibres give these textiles an electrical structure that differs from ordinary non-conductive cloth. Under suitable radio-frequency conditions, part of the incoming energy can be reflected and part absorbed, reducing transmission through the material. The response depends on frequency, textile construction and continuity of the conductive structure.
Claspvyn places the selected fabric in a collared coat with long sleeves and a longer body. Its front opening, neckline, cuffs, seams and hem remain part of a normal wearable garment. When choosing EMF protection clothing, the area covered by the design is a separate consideration from the composition of the textile.
The material codes are not percentages of all radiation blocked or whole-body protection ratings. Use them to identify the fabric you want, then consider how the coat's coverage and fit meet your clothing preferences. This keeps the technical material choice connected to the garment you will actually wear.
Care that follows your fabric choice
Keep the care instructions supplied with your Claspvyn coat and follow them for cleaning, drying and ironing. The four material versions have different compositions, so use the label for your exact version when choosing products or temperatures.
If a care detail is unclear, ask about AJ826 and the full fabric code before treating the garment. Check the collar, cuffs, buttons and pocket areas during normal care for visible damage or loose stitching. Address any issue early rather than continuing to put strain on it.
For adjustments to length or other alterations, discuss the conductive-fabric construction before proceeding. Keep your order details alongside the care guidance so you can identify the right version when seeking advice or choosing another coat.
If you are choosing between two versions, keep your main priority clear: colour, fabric or fit. Settle that first, then use the remaining options to complete the coat you want, rather than changing every part of the decision at once.
Claspvyn questions
Is this a coat on its own?
Yes. AJ826 is a separate collared button-front coat. It does not include trousers, so you can combine it with the clothing already in your wardrobe.
Which colour offers all three Ag versions?
Mineral blue is available in 50Ag, 75Ag and 100Ag. Navy blue offers 50Ag and 75Ag alongside an MTF option.
Can I choose Black in a silver-fibre fabric?
The Black Claspvyn option is MTF. For a silver-fibre version of this model, choose from the available Mineral blue or Navy blue pairings.
What should I check before adding it to my basket?
Check the complete colour/material label and the size with its women's or men's fit designation. Confirm any essential body, sleeve or length measurements. Then make Claspvyn your own with a familiar top, your preferred trousers and the colour combination you enjoy wearing.
