Shipping policyChoose the fabric length and colour that suit you with the Veltryn EMF Shielding Face Covers, Long and Short. Shaped eye and mouth openings define the design, while two length formats give you a clear choice about how far the fabric extends below the face. Select an MTF or silver-fibre version, then choose the complete colour, material and length combination you want.
Veltryn is a conductive-fabric face-cover range with a specific purpose and a distinctive shape. It is not sold as a certified respirator or medical mask, and no infectious-disease or particulate-filtration protection is claimed. If your interest is EMF shielding fabric in a face-cover format, the useful decisions are the material specification, the long or short construction and the fit of the actual garment.

Long or short: choose the shape first
The long and short versions let you begin with a straightforward design preference. The long style has more fabric extending below the face. The short style gives you a shorter outline. That difference changes the physical arrangement of the cover, making length an important part of your choice rather than a small detail to check after deciding on colour.
In this range, L means long and S means short. These letters do not mean large and small in the usual clothing-size sense. Read them as style-length identifiers alongside the colour and fabric code. For example, an option ending in L identifies the long version, not a promise of a larger face fit than the corresponding S version.
Think about the neckline of the clothing you expect to wear with the cover. A longer section below the face will sit differently with a high collar, a round neck or another outer layer. A shorter version creates another arrangement. Consider the complete combination you intend to use, and choose the length whose outline makes sense with that clothing.
Openings that define the face-cover construction
Veltryn has shaped eye and mouth openings. Those openings are central to its construction and to how the fabric sits on the face. They distinguish it from a continuous fabric sheet and are worth considering alongside the length when comparing options. The actual fit needs to keep the openings in their intended positions rather than relying on the material label alone.
When assessing the shape, think about alignment around the eyes and mouth as well as the fabric extending below the face. The garment should be considered as a complete form, with edges and openings, not just as a choice between fibre percentages. If precise dimensions are important to your decision, confirm them for the selected long or short version before ordering.
This clear focus on construction makes it easier to compare Veltryn with other EMF clothing accessories. A face cover has a different shape and placement from a vest, apron or coat. Choose this range when the face-cover format itself is what you want, then use the options to refine the length, colour and material within that format.
Three conductive-fabric choices
The supplier declares the following compositions for the specified fabrics:
- MTF: 41.8% cotton, 32.1% polyester fibre and 26.1% metal fibre.
- 50Ag: 50.6% polyester fibre and 49.4% silver fibre.
- 100Ag: 100% silver fibre.
MTF identifies the cotton, polyester and metal-fibre blend. The Ag-labelled choices identify the silver-fibre formulations. The 50Ag name is a rounded code for the formulation containing 49.4% silver fibre. These figures describe the specified fabric, not every component of the completed cover, and they are not percentages of radio-frequency energy blocked.
Veltryn offers these three material categories. There is no 75Ag selection in this range. If you are comparing it with another conductive garment that does offer 75Ag, keep the product-specific options separate. Here, your choice is between the MTF formulation and the two silver-fibre specifications shown above, in the colours and lengths available for each.
You can begin with the composition you prefer and then choose its length, or begin with the long or short style and compare the materials within it. Both formats are offered across the three material categories, so you can keep the length consistent while considering composition. That is a clearer comparison than changing every part of the selection at once.

Colour options in the long and short versions
The MTF range comes in Light purple, Pink and Light blue, each in long and short versions. The full labels are Light purple MTF L or S, Pink MTF L or S, and Light blue MTF L or S. These three colours give you different visual choices while keeping the declared MTF fabric category the same.
The silver-fibre options come in Silver gray. Choose Silver gray 50Ag L or S, or Silver gray 100Ag L or S. This keeps the colour consistent if you want to compare the two silver-fibre versions or decide between long and short. Silver gray is the colour name; the separate Ag code identifies the fabric formulation.
There are ten complete colour, material and length combinations across the range. Choose the one that matches all three parts of your decision. Pink is an MTF option here, while Silver gray belongs to the 50Ag and 100Ag choices. Reading the complete label prevents a colour preference from accidentally changing the material you intended to order.
Find a colour that works with your clothing
If you prefer a neutral appearance, compare the Silver gray options within the silver-fibre categories. If you would like a softer colour accent, consider Light purple, Pink or Light blue in MTF. These are appearance choices rather than indicators of performance. Choose the colour you prefer with the clothes you expect to wear alongside the cover.
Because this accessory sits close to the neckline, you may find it useful to think about the tops and outer layers you use most often. A similar colour can create a quieter combination; a contrasting one makes the cover more noticeable. The length will also affect the visible amount of fabric below the face, so consider colour and shape together.
A simple sequence for choosing your option
First, decide whether you want the long or short version. Next, choose the fabric specification. Then select one of the colours available with that material and length. Before ordering, read the full label in that order: colour, material code and L or S. This sequence keeps the shopping decision clear even though all three details appear together in one option.
If you are comparing two choices, keep as much consistent as possible. Silver gray 50Ag L and Silver gray 100Ag L isolate the material difference. Pink MTF L and Pink MTF S isolate the length difference. Pink MTF S and Light blue MTF S focus on colour. You can then choose based on the detail that genuinely matters to you.
If you already know the exact specification you want, check it against the complete option rather than selecting the first familiar word. An L at the end changes the length, while 50Ag and 100Ag identify different compositions. Taking a moment to confirm the whole label helps ensure the item in your order is the version you intended.
How conductive fabric relates to RF shielding
Conductive textiles can reflect and absorb portions of radio-frequency energy, reducing transmission through the material. Frequency and conductive structure affect that interaction. A metallised-fabric study illustrates the general principle with a different textile.
Veltryn places the selected textile in a face-cover shape with openings and edges. The long and short versions change where fabric extends, but extra length alone does not establish a higher shielding rating. Material composition, construction and the arrangement of the cover are different parts of the comparison, and the garment should be understood in its actual wearable form.
EMF shielding is also distinct from respiratory filtration. Conductive-fibre content does not establish a filter rating, and a fabric face cover should not be substituted for a respirator required for a particular hazard. Veltryn's material codes are not medical, particulate or workplace-PPE certifications. The range is presented as conductive-fabric face coverage, with no health outcome promised.
Check fit and the surrounding clothing
Since L and S identify length styles, they do not replace a fit check. Confirm the relevant dimensions if you need to know how a version will sit. Consider the eye and mouth openings, the placement of the fabric around the face and the lower edge together. A fit decision based only on the familiar letter L or S would miss the way this range is organised.
When trying the cover, check that the openings remain correctly positioned and that the fabric does not obstruct vision. Assess it with the neckline and any other clothing you intend to wear alongside it. If the garment does not sit appropriately, do not treat a material preference as a reason to accept a poor fit. The construction and fit are essential parts of choosing this accessory.
For the long version, notice how the extra fabric sits below the face against the chosen neckline. For the short version, assess the shorter edge in the same combination. These are practical garment checks that help you decide which length suits your preference. They do not turn the cover into a sealed enclosure or establish a numerical protection level.
Care for the version you select
Follow the care instructions supplied with the chosen cover. The range includes different fabric compositions, so use the guidance for the actual version rather than transferring a routine from an ordinary face covering or another conductive textile. Keep the label or instructions for future reference and resolve unfamiliar symbols before the first clean.
If you need a particular washing or drying method to fit your routine, confirm that it is suitable before ordering. The garment's own directions should guide temperatures, detergents and drying decisions. Planning care alongside length and material makes the purchase more practical, especially when you want a clear routine for an accessory worn close to the face.
Veltryn buying questions
Do L and S mean large and small?
No. They identify the long and short face-cover versions. Choose the length you want, then confirm any dimensions needed for fit. The complete option also includes the colour and material code.
Which colours come in silver-fibre versions?
Silver gray comes in 50Ag and 100Ag, each in L and S. Light purple, Pink and Light blue come in MTF, also in both lengths. Choose from those complete combinations.
Is the longer version a higher protection class?
No protection class is assigned by length. The long version changes how far the fabric extends below the face. Choose it for that construction, rather than treating the L label as a performance score.
Can this replace a medical mask or certified respirator?
No. This is a conductive-fabric face-cover range, with no medical-mask certification or particulate-filtration rating claimed. Its EMF shielding material purpose is separate from respiratory protection.
